Ciao a tutti
Mi sono appena iscritto e ne approfitto per fare due cose :

1° Salutare tutta la comunità di questo bellissimo forum !
2° Chiedere un consiglio sulla scelta di una MOBO per un 4200+ x2 am2

Fra queste due schede : ALiveSATA2-GLAN (chipset VIA® K8T890 CF) & AM2XLI-eSATA2 (chipset ULi M1697)

Qual' è più prestante ???
Mi sapreste dire prò e contro dell'una e dell'altra ?
Non ho tenuto in considerazione la : ALiveNF4G-DVI (chipset NVIDIA® GeForce 6100 & NVIDIA® nForce 410 MCP) perchè manca un canale eide (e disgraziatamente me ne sevono due) e ha soltanto due canali sata2 (e disgraziatamente me ne servono almeno 4) !

Vi prego di aiutarmi (stò dando di matto)

Ho provato a chiedere in giro ma nessuno mi degna di risposte esaurienti !

DFI, finalmente disponibile anche su AM2....

Altrimenti, se devi per forza rimanere sulle 2 che hai detto tu... sono entrambi buoni chipset, per come li conosco io.... sicuramente arriverà qualcun altro a consigliarti pero' meglio tra le 2!

Se ci fosse qualcuno che ha avuto modo di provare queste due schede e riuscisse a dirmi pregi e difetti sarebbe il massimo !

c'è anche la msi...ho sempre sentito parlare bene...io l'ho appena presa....è in cantina insiema a una 7900 gt... in attesa che arrivino gli altri pezzi.....

E se posso essere indiscreto .......... quanto hai pagato il procione (Io l'ho pagato 179€ boxato e spedito ! E stò tentando di capire se mi hanno rispettato oppure no ! )

ottimo come prezzo 179 boxato, i 2 maggiori shop online che frequento lo danno a 182 o 195, quindi direi che l'hai trovato ad un buon prezzo..

per le MSI ci son vari modelli, dalla più economica(MSI K9NU Neo sui 60-70 euro) alla più prestante(MSI K9N SLI Platinum) disponibile anche non SLI..

puntando su msi, hai anche una buona base per far un pò di oc..

Allora stò tranquillo per quanto riguarda il prezzo del procio !
Ma rimango molto confuso per quanto riguarda la MOBO ! La Neo ha solo 1 canale eide, mentre la platinum si discosta troppo dal mio target monetario !
Mi sà che sceglierò tra le due asrock (tanto come già detto non sono patito di OC almeno per ora) !

Qualcuno mi sà dire i principali punti di forza del chipset Via e di quello Uli ??? Quale dei due rende meglio ? Molti parlano bene della sli con chipset Uli su socket 939 (quindi in teoria dovrebbe andar bene anche la sli con socket am2 !) Anche se il chipset è diverso è sempre un evoluzione del precedente Uli usato sulla Sli 939 ! Oppure mi sbaglio ???

su socket 939 l'uli era ottimo, per sapere come va su AM2, meglio se aspetti qualcuno che lo ha provato..

immaginavo che la platinum non ti interessasse, te lo messa solo per farti un esempio, comunque ci sono altre msi intermedie, ti avevo messo i 2 estremi..

le asrock si sono dimostrate ottime col socket 939, credo ripeteranno il loro successo su AM2, ma ti consiglio sempre di aspettare qualcuno che le ha provate di persona..

Ok allora aspetterò qualcuno che le abbia già provate !

Il problema è che mi devo decidere in fretta altrimenti SCLERO !!!

A dirla tutta io sarei tentato dalla asrock xli ! Il mio unico timore è che dato l'acquisto da parte di (i)nvidia della Uli, più avanti nel tempo vengano a cadere da parte di Uli i servizi di aggiornamento driver !

la dfi è ottima in oc, ed ha anche 2 canali ide ho visto, cosa che serve a te..
l'asus non trovo quanti canali ha, c'è scritto he ti danno 1 solo cavo, quindi presumo anche un solo canale..
tra le 3 io prenderei la DFI, ora non intendi far oc, però magari tra un pò sì, quindi meglio far la spesa ora, che doverla rifare più avanti, no??

NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!! ASUS no ! Sembra che tutte le schede sfigate uscite dalla fabbrica le abbia beccate io fino ad ora !

Cmq l'indecisione si limita a queste 3 : DFI INFINITY NF ULTRAII-M2 ; ASrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN ; ASrock AM2XLI-eSATA2

Dfi apparte che guadagna punti a suo favore per il fattore OC, si somigliano tutte ! Hanno da 4 a 6 sata; due canali eide ed audio 7.1 ! Il problemino tecnico e sempre quello però .......... il chipset !
Per quanto ne sò io il Via è ultracompatibile con tutto, l' Uli è un "novizio" che stà d'appresso all' nforce (ma rimane la paura di non avere più aggiornamenti per il chipset causa acquisizione di Uli da parte di nvidia) e l'nvidia è il più performante (ma non disdegna di dare qualche rogna) !

Ricapitolando (quello che cerco) : OC poco, stabilità molta, buone (scrivo buone e non ottime perchè sò che dovrei salire di cifra) prestazioni con lo spostamento di file e con i giochi !
