<p>Secondo alcune indiscrezioni già dalla relase di settembre dei nuovi driver Catalyst ATI abbandonerà il controllo panel a favore del nuovo ma pesante <span style="font-weight: bold;">ATI Catalyst Control Center</span> che richiede anche l′installazione del <span style="font-weight: bold;">NET Framework</span>.

<li><font color="#000000"><font color="#000000">Better Media Center Support yet content protection will be enabled (CGMS, HDCP, Macrovision).</font></font></li>
<li><font color="#000000"><font color="#000000">Better and easier to use HDTV resolution adjustments.</font></font></li>
<li><font color="#000000"><font color="#000000">Crossfire will support: AA 8x, 10x,12x and 14x</font></font></li>
