<p><strong>Highlights of the Windows Catalyst 6.11 release include:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Performance improvements:</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>As with most Catalyst® releases, performance has increased in various situations. In this release of Catalyst® Call of Duty 2 performance improves as much as 12.5% at 1920x1200 settings and as much as 10.5% at 1280x1024 settings on X1900 Software Crossfire configurations.  Largest gains are seen with 4x Anti-Aliasing enabled. </li>

<p><strong>New Features</strong></p>
<p><strong>Software Crossfire™ Support for the Radeon X1900/X1950 Series of Products</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Catalyst 6.11 introduces software CrossFire™ support for any combination of ATI Radeon X1900 and ATI Radeon X1950 installed in a system running either Windows XP or Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system </li>
<li>Note: The ATI Radeon X1950 PRO is not supported in software Crossfire mode and can only be used with another ATI Radeon X1950 PRO in Hardware Crossfire mode <strong> </strong></li>

<p><strong>Highlights of the Linux Catalyst 6.11 (8.31.5) release include:</strong></p>

<p><strong>Resolved Issues</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Setting the display resolution to 400x300 or less no longer results in the mouse pointer not being able to move across the entire desktop. </li>
<li>The graphics driver no longer hangs the system shortly after the X Server is started on Red Hat enterprise Linux 3 system running Uniprocessor kernels. </li>
<li>Playing a media file under any distribution with X Server 6.9 or greater no longer results in a brief pause or video tearing when resizing the video window or running the mouse pointer over the video player window. </li>
<li>Using aticonfig to set the TV format to PAL-COMB-N no longer fails to update the X Server configuration file. </li>
