Elmshorn – 20. July 2004 - Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH, European branch of Shuttle Inc., the leading
designer and manufacturer of mini PCs and mainboards, announced a substantial increase in sales today. Sales for
XPCs rose by 47 per cent during the first half of 2004, compared with the first half of 2003. Overall, 323,000 XPCs
were sold (first half of 2003: 219,000 XPCs). Shuttle expects to sell a total of 700,000 XPC Barebones by the end of
the year.

By introducing the new P and G5 models in particular, Shuttle will be seeking to appeal more strongly to the Home,
Business, Media Center and Gaming sectors. In addition, the sector will expand with regard to the new processors
such as Intel's Grantsdale and Alderwood chip sets.

Furthermore, Shuttle is also anticipating a considerable rise in XPC sales with "Shuttle XPC System Solutions".
"First of all, as a manufacturer we offer completely configured Shuttle XPCs for the Home, Business, Media Center
and Gaming sectors", explains Bastian Fröhlig, PR Manager of Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. As a result,
Shuttle is once again a pioneer, as was the case three years ago when the company was the first manufacturer to
bring a mini PC onto the market. In September, the system business will be launched in Europe with seven XPC
systems configured in different ways.
