After successfully launching its first AGP8X graphics card X400-T2, DFI is now introducing the
latest model, X600-T2, to deliver even better solution of AGP8X technology. DFI has been
leveraging AGP8X technology on its advanced motherboards and graphics cards to pursue
ultimate performance. The former hit X400-
T2 is based on price-performance concept,
and it has brought great satisfaction to many
graphics card users since its launch in
September 2002. The new X600-T2 is now
taking the standard even further, and will be
able to excel on entertainment and gaming
performance.
The new AGP8X interface offers the perfect
solution to the insufficient bandwidth of
AGP4X since AGP4X with maximum
transfer rate at 1GB can no longer satisfy
game player’s desire for speed and the
transfer rate of peripheral is at least 2GB. Providing maximum transfer rate at 2.1GB, Xabre 600,
which is the latest graphics chip from SiS and the graphics engine of X600-T2 as well, not only
eliminating the frustration of insufficient bandwidth, but also reaches balance and bring the overall
performance to a well-optimized result. The built-in Pixilizer Engine of Xabre600 handles
definition to render the most complicated and most life-like 3D imagery, enhancing the contrast of
surface texture and refinements, and drastically improving surface mapping for virtual reality.
Xabre 600 is designed for gamers to enjoy the latest games with unearthing realism.
DFI X600-T2 offers excellent performance by using 128-bit DDR RAM. It is also equipped with
DVI and TV out in addition to ordinary CRT monitor. User can align different resolutions on two
monitoring devices. Video decoding performance is also optimized with the built-in MPEG 2/1
Video decoder, which supports up to 20 M bit/sec rate decoding and VCD, DVD, HDTV decoding.
With the programmable ability to vertex data and pixel data, one can enjoy better picture quality
and image quality compliant to DirectX 8.1. The performance of vertex shader will be pacing with
the speed increase of CPU on motherboard.</i></blockquote>
