<br>Il prossimo chip grafico di Ati ha già delle specifiche che circolano in rete con un certo grado di certezza.<br>Su un sito californiano abbiamo trovato la Radeon X800Pro in vendita ad un prezzo di 499,00$, in realtà si tratta di una prenotazione in quanto risulterà disponibile a partire dal 07/05/2004.<p>Potete controllare a questo <a href="http://www.allstarshop.com/shop/product.asp?pid=8988&sid=QDW3SU88MR308NT1TVC71XN9HSTJ27C2#">indirizzo</a>.<p>
Inoltre sono specificate le caratteristiche del nuovo chip di Ati: si parla di 12 pipeline (per la versione Pro) e di 8 pipeline Extreme, così come di 6 motori geometrici. Naturalmente l'interfaccia di memoria sarà a 256 bit di tipo GDDR3.<br>Le prestazioni si attesteranno su un livello quasi doppio rispetto al modello Radeon 9800Pro.<br>I nuovi motori della serie Radeon X800 saranno denominati HD e prevedono diverse novità in ogni settore.<br>Tra le tante citiamo:<br>estensione della precisione del motore di shader;<br>nuova tecnologia di compressione 3DC per le normal map;<br>supporto completo MPEG; nuovo AA denominato Temporal;<br>maggiore compressione dei dati relativi allo Z buffer.<p>
