VIA K8T400M
Anche VIA ha annunciato un chipset dedicato ad Opteron. Si tratta del K8T400M che, affiancato al Southbridge VT8237, fornisce supporto HyperTransport, AGP8X, Serial ATA/RAID 0,1 e 0+1, 4 porte ATA-133 e 8 USB 2.0. Inoltre si supporta il nuovo canale Ultra V-Link di connessione al Southbridge per oltre 1 Gb/sec di banda disponibile.
