With identical cache sizes, the two Durons follow the same performance pattern. An extra 100MHz, however, gives the Duron 1.3GHz an extra 50 MFLOPS in the Linpack test. The Celeron's cache is L2-heavy, so its peak performance isn't quite as spectacular. The extra L2 cache does let the Celeron's cache hold much larger matrix sizes, where the Duron's performance plummets.
