Soltek Computer presenta la sua nuova scheda madre per processori Amd su socket A, la SL-KT880E-RL. Il chipset è il Via KT880, progettato per contrastare la supremazia di nVidia che, con l'nForce2, detiene il titolo di piattaforma più performante per processori Athlon. La novità sostanziale del nuovo chip è nell'implementazione del dual-channel per le ram come per il rivale nForce2.
