ThermalTake Tecnology, una delle aziende più dinamiche dello scorso anno, lancia un nuovo prodotto per il 2004. Si tratta della nuova linea di case in alluminio, naturale evoluzione della famiglia Xaser, che giunge alla quinta generazione. Con un look rinnovato e diverse nuove funzionalità , l'azienda ha puntato sulla differenziazione prodotto in modo da incontrare meglio le esigenze della clientela. La nuova famiglia si divide in due categorie: Damier per l'utente esigente che pretende il massimo, Wingo per il giocatore "estremo". Ogni categoria, inoltre, presenta 6 prodotti suddivisi a 2 a 2 a seconda che sia, o meno, presente la finestra trasparente laterale.

Xaser V is all-new and built on the unique blend of style and practicality seen in the production models of the successful Xaser III Series chassis.

On top of all appearance makeovers, the brain of the Xaser Series chassis that made it ever so popular also gets a major boost. The blue backlighted LCD display allows users to get real time information such as RPM, temperature and alarm setting in the dark. At a push of a button, users can enable the Hardcano unit to automatically control all fans according to temperature.
Two 90mm Smart Fan units are strategically placed at the rear and on the side of the case for maintaining chassis's ambient temperature. Moreover, each Smart Case Fan is pre-routed to two large aluminum VR knobs placed conveniently on the stylish front panel. In addition, Thermaltake uniquely designs the motif front door on the front and rear side of the door.
