Asus A7N266 is a solid product. It comes with acceptable 3D accelerator and 6 channels sound. It's also packed with performance. However, one needs to ask, "Do I need all those features?" The true performance seekers would not use the onboard MX and sound card, yet they need to pay for these. The much hyped TwinBank technology does not offer tangible performance increase for the current generation of CPUs if you plan to use external graphics card.

For those people with high performance graphics cards, get nForce 220 or KT266A since the TwinBank technology does not offer a substantial performance increase. (You need to take current DDR price into account as well; the money can spend in other areas.) Alternatively, you can wait for nForce 415, it has all the goodies of 420 without the price tag.
