E' sempre più vicino il debutto ufficiale del nuovo processore AMD Athlon XP con processo produttivo a 0.13µm. Fonti attendibili danno il suo ingresso sul mercato per il 20 Marzo 2002:

Nevertheless, there are expected to be no difficulties with compatibility. According to our information, Thoroughbred chips will be compatible with KT266x chipsets and KT333 chipsets.
