Sharkoon presents a new version of its golf ball case fan. The Sharkoon Silent Eagle 2000 is now available with an alternative modding-friendly look for internal PC illumination. The frame and rotor blades of the LED edition are constructed from transparent plastic, and a blue light diode is set in each of the four corners.
 
The proven technical features remain unchanged: the fan blades' surface structure is the same as a golf ball's. Numerous small, round depressions -- the so-called dimples -- allow for a greater airflow volume than a conventional with the same rpms. The frame's rounded edges also improve air intake. The Silent Eagle 2000 turns at 2000 rotations per minute and moves 38.5 cu. m of air each hour. An operating noise level of 17.8 dB(A) also makes the fan exceedingly quiet.
 
The 80 mm case fan is equipped with a robust metal sleeve bearing and a universal connection cable (3-pin / 4-pin plus a separate connection line for monitoring rpms) encased in a protective rubberized fabric sleeve. Four fan screws and rubber bolts for vibration-free mounting in the case are also included in delivery.
