IBM e HITACHI hanno concluso un accordo che prevede la nascita di una nuova società con sede a San Jose, CA. IBM abbandonerà il settore storage e i 18.000 dipendenti dell'azienda americana si uniranno ai circa 6.000 di quella giapponese in questo nuova società .
