Secondo Van's Hardware, le nuove cpu con core Thorougbread non sarebbero molto overcloccabili perché tale core sarebbe ottimizzato per avere bassi consumi e quindi destinato al mercato dei notebook, probabilmente tra poco vedremo che questi core verranno migliorati per il mercato desktop, con l'obiettivo di raggiungere alte frequenze.
