With AMD PowerNow!(tm) technology, the newest mobile AMD Athlon XP processor gives business and home consumers a dynamic power management tool for performance on demand and enables a cooler, quieter notebook PC. Notebook PCs powered by the mobile AMD Athlon XP processor 1800+, based on 0.13 micron technology, are available today from Hewlett-Packard Company and ACER Europe. Other features of the mobile AMD Athlon XP processor include support for AMD's 3DNow!(tm) Professional instruction set for enhanced multimedia capabilities, and AMD PowerNow! technology for extended battery life.
