Non siamo nemmeno a metà Agosto che già Asus ha mostrato la rev 1.0 della propria scheda madre K8M per processori AMD Athlon di ottava generazione. Questo annuncio fa pensare proprio ad un ingresso anticipato sul mercato della famiglia Hammer. Su x-bit labs sono comparse ulteriori info:

The mainboard is equipped with Socket754, features 2 DIMM slots supporting DDR266/DDR333 SDRAM, 5 PCI and 1 AGP Pro slot supporting AGP 3.0 (AGP 8x). As you can see from the picture above, the mainboard is built on AMD-8000 chipset including AMD-8151 AGP tunnel and AMD-8111 I/O tunnel. This way, we can say that K8M supports such standards as USB 2.0 and ATA/133. Besides, ASUS also implemented SerialATA-150 support in its new product via an onboard SiliconImage controller. Also the board supports IEEE1394 (due to VIA VT6307 controller), 6-channel ACÂ’97 sound and 10/100Mbit Ethernet.
