<p>Via annuncia il settimo VIA Technology Forum (VTF) che si tettà a Tapei dal 7 al 9 giugno prossimo durante il Computex 2006 e avrà come linea di discussione “Embracing Digital Intelligence”</p>
<p><em>VIA Technologies, Inc, a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced that the seventh annual VIA Technology Forum (VTF) will lay out the direction for “Embracing Digital Intelligence” and take place in Taipei from 7th to 9th June during Computex 2006. Areas of focus for VTF 2006 include high definition computing, the ultra mobile lifestyle, connected client computing and emerging markets. </em></p>
<p><em>“The rapid proliferation of digitally intelligent technologies and growing availability of high speed broadband infrastructure opens up vast opportunities for new markets, applications and usage models,” said Richard Brown, Vice President of Marketing, VIA Technologies, Inc. “VIA Technology Forum brings together the computing, communications, applications and content communities to outline how to embrace digital intelligence and take advantage of these opportunities that influence our lifestyles in the office, at home and on the go.”</em></p>
<p><em>VTF2006 will consist of a three-day event in Taipei with a compelling program of keynote addresses, and specialist presentations in four technology track seminars:</em></p>
<p><em>High Definition Platforms<br />
Focusing on the key technologies driving advances in Performance PCs, Media Center PCs and Home Entertainment Servers for creating, storage and sharing high definition content. </em></p>
<p><em>Ultra Mobility<br />
Examining the latest mobile platform technologies, underlining the importance of low power, performance-per-watt and miniaturization, which are inspiring an exciting new generation of innovative computing and communications devices for the mobile lifestyle.</em></p>
<p><em>Connected Client Computing <br />
Looking at the trends in enterprise computing, software, hardware, total cost of ownership and security and how it influences decisions, highlighting case studies of successfully implemented technologies and systems.</em></p>
<p><em>Emerging Markets<br />
Addressing key innovations and challenges for emerging markets, and showcasing how ICTs can extend the benefits of computing and connectivity to the next one billion “digital have-nots”. </em></p>
<p><em>Complementing the presentations at VTF2006 will be the innovation showcase, where VIA’s key industry partners will display and demonstrate their latest products, technologies and services.</em></p>
