I had wanted to inform you that within the Avivo Video Converter (http://ati.amd.com/technology/Avivo/technology.html), there is a profile which supports video output to the Zune without the need for transcoding. The Avivo Video Converter, as you may recall is a transcoder which delivers amazingly fast transcodes (cutting up to 80% off the conversion time) and is found within the Catalyst Control Center. And of course, it is a free download for all ATI hardware owners (X1000 and above).

We’ve also created a new knowledge base article which walks a user on how to convert their videos into a format (Portable Media Center) which is supported by the Zune. (http://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&questionID=23886) Videos which are stored in the ‘My Videos’ folder are automatically synced to a Zune, and more information can be found on the Zune website (http://www.zune.net/en-us/support/howto/start/addmedia.htm)
