Processo services.exe

Salve,da qualche giorno il processo services.exe rende lentissimo il mio pc,occupando cpu e memoria.Immagino sia un worm ma ne' nod32 ne' spybot o adware hanno trovato nulla.Cosa mi consigliate di fare ? Possiedo windows xp sp2. Che schifo questi pc ,se non ci fosse internet lo avrei gia' buttato dalla finestra

Avevo e ho sempre disattivati gli aggiornamenti automatici e pure il ripristino di sistema.Così come il servizio di indicizzazione che in altri siti ho letto che può rallentare il sistema.Pero' ancora non ho risolto il problema.Ora sto facendo una scansione online su Trend Micro,sta facendo la scansione da 2 ore e ancora non ha finito

magari fallo partire da mod provvisoria..
